Romano Sastipen & SRAP

The Fundación Secretariado Gitano activities completed drug prevention program “Romano Sastipen.” This program funded by the National Plan on Drug works with the European Programme SRAP prevention and awareness of the Roma youth, reducing substance use and delaying the age at onset of minors. The work is developed through specific recreational activities and workshops, ranging from the knowledge of substances, the acquisition of social and individual skills to strengthen and increase the protective factors against abuse.

The program Sastipen Romano has worked with nearly 2,000 children, youth and families in more than 20 Spanish cities.

In 2012, we hope to implement the methodology of the European project SRAP in drug prevention workshops for youth and begin WP6 for socio-professional training.
